How do I identify a movie?
Tap the scan button on the home screen, select a screenshot or photo from your gallery, and Movie Nerd will identify it within seconds.
How many free scans do I get?
Free users get 5 scans per day. Scan credits can be purchased in the app for unlimited identifying.
My scan credits were charged but not applied. What do I do?
Go to the Account screen and tap "Restore Purchases". If the issue persists, contact us at hello@nerd.ug with your order ID.
The app did not identify my movie correctly. Why?
Results depend on image quality and the clarity of visual details in the screenshot. Try using a clearer frame or a different scene from the movie.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from the Account screen in the app, or visit our account deletion page for instructions.
Is my data shared with third parties?
We do not sell your personal data. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.
