Account Deletion

We're sorry to see you go. If you delete your account, all your data will be permanently removed.

What happens when you delete your account?

Your scan history will be permanently deleted.
Your saved movies and watchlist will be removed.
Your profile information will be wiped from our systems.
This action cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

In the App

Open Movie Nerd, go to Account > Danger Zone > Delete Account. Your data will be deleted immediately.

Manual Request

If you no longer have the app, email hello@nerd.ugfrom your account email with subject "Account Deletion Request".

Important: Active Subscriptions

Deleting your account does notautomatically cancel active subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. Please cancel your subscription in your device's store settings to avoid future charges.
